Perth Elopement - Steve & Shay - Kirsten Graham Photography Fremantle

Elopements are a really special wedding to be a part of. When its literally just you, the celebrant, and one other person witnessing people make this commitment to each other.

For Steve and Shay, it was a beautiful sunset ceremony in one of the Ritz Carlton Perth Suites. And there wasn't a dry eye in the house as these two shared the most moving wedding vows, but still with plenty of jokes and laughter in there too.

I am so in love with Shay's dress, the fabric just fell so beautifully, you'd think it was all made as one piece but no she managed to source most of it online since they live in regional WA.

After the ceremony we popped across the road to Supreme Court Gardens for some photos with the beautiful Moreton Bay fig trees - of course their sunset ceremony meant we had to get creative with the lighting on these shots, so a huge thank you to Kelly from intimate Elopements for clambering over tree roots, hiding behind the couple and still doing a great job throwing the veil around to capture these images! We also of course used the stunning Ritz Carlton hotel - intimate Elopement weddings held here have use of exclusive areas within the premises.

And then after that it was time for the newlyweds to head out to an intimate dinner in town, before sharing the big news with their family the next day. Thank you for having me there for this moment, and I am so happy with the photos we have for you to remember it from.
